Michael Kendall
Mike Kendall was the President of the Association of Council Secretaries and Solicitors in 2003. He recently retired from the position of County Secretary of West Sussex County Council, a post he held for ten years.
From 1982 to 1998 he worked at Portsmouth City Council, where he started as Assistant City Secretary and Solicitor and left as the Director of Corporate Services. Prior to this, from 1975 to 1982 he was first Assistant and then Principal Solicitor at Nottinghamshire County Council. He began his career as an Articled Clerk in 1973 at Bradford City Council. He is an Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution accredited mediator.
