Talk back, look forward
The Standards Board for England's Regional Roadshows
The Standards Board ran a series of nine regional roadshows between November 2002 and March 2003.
As part of our ongoing dialogue with local government, these roadshows offered an opportunity to share experiences of our first year of operation and discuss some of the important issues that arose.
Each event featured three separate sessions, tailored respectively for monitoring officers, members of standards committees and parish councillors.
A range of workshops aimed to encourage debate around some of the key issues affecting the Standards Board and members alike. Standards Board personnel were also on hand to provide specialist advice to members and officers on a one-to-one basis.
