Local assessment toolkit published online

The Standards Board for England has published a toolkit online which provides a wide range of template documents, forms and process maps designed for use in the local assessment process.

Local authorities to receive and consider complaints about member behaviour from 8 May 2008

The regulations which allow local authority standards committees to receive, and decide what to do about, complaints about the conduct of councillors locally will come into force on 8 May 2008.
