Record bookings for the Seventh Annual Assembly
Around 700 delegates have already signed up for the Seventh Annual Assembly of Standards Committees, Delivering the goods: Local standards in action, to be held at the ICC, Birmingham, on 13 and 14 October 2008.
More than 85% of places are already booked
Places are limited and bookings are still coming in fast, so if your authority has yet to book you are advised to do so soon. You can book online at the conference website, www.annualassembly.co.uk. The website offers a one-stop-shop of conference information, including the full conference programme, latest news on confirmed expert speakers and details of fringe events.
Conference sessions – make sure you get your first choice
This year, delegates have more than 20 workshops and presentations to choose from. These include sessions to help you put the local standards framework into action, and discussions on challenging issues in governance, leadership and ethics.
If you have already secured your place at the conference, we advise you to return your conference session preference form as soon as possible to make sure you get your first choice of sessions - places are filling up fast.
